Make sure your speakers are on and adjust the volume. It is not unusual to go for extended periods (several minutes of silence at a time) without hearing a transmission. What it means is that there is a very low level of police or fire activity at that time. This will open your default media player. If you don't have a media player, download one below. I've found that VLC Player works great for the Tuolumne County Incident Feed Live Scanner.  Winamp is another great media player that works perfect with the Live Scanner. |
